Welcome New Tar Heels!

Thank you for downloading CarolinaGO, the official app of UNC Chapel Hill.

We hope to provide a quick resource for your daily information needs around campus. Whether it is dining hall menus, live bus route information, gym schedules, or the only way to access the mobile ConnectCarolina, you can find it all here.

Also, check back regularly to learn about the biggest events on campus in our new "Feature of The Week" section. We hope to highlight an event pertinent to all students each week, so there is always something new to check out, or at least figure out where to get free food!

Here’s a quick overview of the app:

Connect
  • This is where you can find solutions to your academic needs.
  • Forgot what room your next class is in? Sign in to our mobile view of ConnectCarolina, which is the easiest way to view ConnectCarolina on your phone.
  • Need to print? Find the closest printer to you within the Find a Printer module.
  • Need to look up a professor’s email? Use our directory module.
Move
  • This is the center for finding your way around campus.
  • Wondering where your bus is? Use the bus module to get live updates on where the bus is along its route. Google Maps is a good tool for figuring out what line you should be getting on, but it won’t tell you if the bus is running late.
  • Can’t find a building? Use the campus map module.
Eat
  • As you may have guessed, this is where you can find live information about what dining halls are open and their menus for the day. Hopefully this will make the decision to go to Rams or Lenoir easier.
Engage
  • This is where you can find information about campus news and events.
  • See what the gym schedules are and what fitness classes are offered on any given day.
  • Interested in Greek life? Use the Greek Life module to find houses and learn about upcoming events.

CarolinaGO is a completely student-run organization, and if you are interested in being a part of an award-winning app team as a member of our advisory board please contact carolinago@unc.edu. No coding experience required.
